The Process
From graded fibre to finished woven goods.

Selection & Batching
Raw jute is selected, blended, softened and conditioned for the product. Batching can be standard, vegetable-oil or hydrocarbon-free, to the specification.

Carding & Drawing
Conditioned fibre is carded into sliver and progressively drawn to improve uniformity before spinning.
- 03
Spinning
Prepared sliver is spun into jute yarn according to the required count and production specification.
- 04
Weaving
Yarn is converted into hessian, sacking and other woven constructions on the mill's loom base according to required fabric specifications.
- 05
Finishing
Finishing can include calendering, damping, cutting, hemming, sewing and marking.
- 06
Baling & Despatch
Finished goods are packed or press-baled according to order requirements before despatch.

A commodity sack and a food-grade coffee sack run on similar looms but need different fibre, batching, cleanliness controls, inks and verification. We build the order around your specification, from fibre through finishing to inspection, testing, packing and shipment.
Standard
Conventional batching for standard industrial jute products.
Vegetable-Oil Treated
A vegetable-oil batching emulsion in place of conventional mineral-oil processing.
Hydrocarbon-Free
Hydrocarbon-free processing to the agreed specification and testing criteria.
Food-Grade
Built to buyer-defined food-grade requirements: construction, batching, cleanliness, printing, handling and testing.
Buyer-Specified
Other batching and treatment requirements set by the buyer or destination market.

Preparation & Spinning
